Oil tanker sumadsad sa Marinduque

GASAN, Marinduque – Isang oil tanker ang sumadsad sa baybayin ng Banot, Gasan, Marinduque sa gitna ng pananalasa ng Bagyong ”Nina”, Lunes, Disyembre 26.

Ayon sa Municipal Interior Local Government ng Gasan, sakay ng MT Obama, na nagmula sa Subic, ang 21 crew na papunta sana sa Tacloban.

Sinisiyasat pa ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) kung may kargang krudo ang MT Obama nang maaksidente ito dakong ika-2:00 ng umaga.

May naihanda nang oil spill foam ang mga awtoridad sakaling kailanganin, ani PCG spokesman Commander Armand Balilo.

Samantala, iniulat din ng PCG na isang nakadaong na barko ang lumulubog sa pier ng Virac, Catanduanes.

Wala pang ibang detalye ang PCG ukol sa naturang barko na maaari anilang pinalulubog ng malalakas na alon.
