Seal of Good Governance, inaasahang makukuhang muli ng Marinduque

BOAC, Marinduque – Bumisita sa Marinduque ang grupo ng Seal of Good Governance Assessment Team ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Mimaropa Region upang pag-usapan ang estado ng lalawigan sa iba’t-ibang aspeto ng mabuting pamamahala.

Ang pagpupulong ay dinaluhan nina Governor Carmencita Reyes, Provincial Administrator Baron Jose Lagran, DILG-Marinduque Provincial Director Frederick Gumabol, mga kinatawan ng Philippine National Police at ilang pinuno ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Naging facilitator ng assessment sina Regional Assessment Team (RAT) Leader Karl Caesar Rimando, RAT Member Fransisco De Jesus, Provincial Director ng Romblon na si German Yap at si DILG Regional Focal Person Andrew Gonzalvo.

Maraming nakitang pagbabago ang assessment team sa iba’t-ibang aspeto ng good governance sa lalawigan tulad ng peace and order at solid waste management.

Ang kakulangan sa sistematikong disaster preparedness at pre-emptive evacuation system naman ang binigyang pansin ng assessment team na dapat pag-ukulan ng pamahalaan.

Sinisiguro na sa bagong assessment na ito ay lalo pang pagbubutihin ng lokal na pamahalaan ang iba pang aspeto ng mabuting pamamahala.

Inaasahan na sa susunod na taon, sa pagtutulungan ng DILG at provincial government ay makukuhang muli ng lalawigan ang seal of good governance na ilang sunud-sunod na taong iginawad sa probinsya.
