Fun run held in MSC to support Women’s Month

BOAC, Marinduque – Fun and giggles reverberated on Friday morning as students of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Physical Education (PE) class of Marinduque State College (MSC) Boac Campus held their fun run activity in participation with the National Celebration of Women’s Month.

It was initiated by the so called #CircleOf9 in coordination with the Gender and Development Office (GADO) headed by Maria Victoria Miciano.

#CircleOf9 was composed of 6 energetic faculty members and 3 student athletes namely Sports, Culture and Arts Services Director Dr. Diomenes Montaron, NSTP Director Mario Mascareñas, Ruby Ann Lantita, Robert Mascareñas, Goerge Mandia, Marvin Plata, Rosabel Labay, Maricon Natal, and Erica Jerries Orejuila.

There are 123 participants who actively participated in the said momentous gathering and part was the turn-over of thirty (30) Beema Bamboo seedlings to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

The group aims that the event will be done every first Friday of the month with different programs and activities such as campus and community services to promote the “Be Kind Campaign” launched by MSC on February 14, 2018. Marinduquenews.com
