MSC nails its performance in Moryonan 2018

SANTA CRUZ, Marinduque – Forty (40) students and faculty from Marinduque State College (MSC) Boac Campus headed by Sports Culture and Arts Services Director Dr. Diomenes Montaron, Mrs. Ruby Ann Lantita and Ms. Sharmaine Balut were the first runner up in Moryonan 2018.

MSC Boac students from School of Technology and School of Education outshone ten other contingents from different towns of Marinduque. Landy National High School from Santa Cruz won the championship trophy.

The Battle of the Morions, or Moryonan, is an annual activity initiated and sponsored by Marinduque Representative Lord Allan Jay Velasco, aims to encourage towns and schools to train the new generation in making morions and costumes, seen as a source of income for communities and out-of-school youth.
