Information caravan ng DSWD, isinagawa sa Marinduque

BOAC, Marinduque – Nagsagawa ng information caravan ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Mimaropa nang magtungo ito sa tatlong bayan ng Marinduque; Boac, Mogpog at Santa Cruz kamakailan.

Ang caravan na ito ay isinagawa upang makapagbigay ng kaalaman tungkol sa mga programa at serbisyo ng kagawaran.

Dahil sa aktibidad ng DSWD ay malayang nakapagtanong ang mga nagsipagdalo kung papaano sila mapabibilang sa mga programa at serbisyo tulad ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, Kalahi-CIDSS, Sustainable Livelihood Program, Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens, Supplementary Feeding Program, Adoption and Foster Care and Disaster Response, atbp.

Nagbahagi naman ng pambungad na pananalita si Assistant Regional Director for Operations-Mimaropa Floreceli G. Gunio.

Nagpaabot naman ng pasasalamat si Director Joel Espejo, Social Marketing Service mula sa DSWD Central Office sa mga nakiisa at dumalo sa pagpupulong.

Bukod sa isinagawang information caravan ay nagsagawa rin ang DSWD ng blood typing test, medical check-up, free massage, organic seed distribution, medical at educational assistance, solo parent registration at senior citizen pension assistance. Marinduquenews.com
