Ayon kay Marinduque PDRRM officer in charge Rino Labay, “The province is experiencing brownout right now. Typhoon Tisoy started raging at 5am and continued pounding the province around 8:30am”.

OIC Labay said making contact with local governments is challenging as most communication assets including internet were knocked out. No report of casualties as of now. The PDRRM emergency operation center at the capitol as well as those DOH Marinduque are running on generators. OIC Labay said Typhoon Tisoy seemed to be twisting the trees in their immediate vicinity.”.
