Higit 1,000 pasahero stranded sa Talao-Talao Port dahil sa Bagyong Ursula

BOAC, Marinduque – Mahigit 1,000 pasahero ang na-stranded sa Talao-Talao Port sa Lucena City dahil sa nararanasang masamang panahon.

Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), may 600 pasahero ang kasalukuyang nananatili sa loob ng Talao-Talao Port terminal building samantalang humigit 400 naman ang nasa covered basketball court sa Barangay Dalahican at labas ng gate ng nasabing pantalan.

Pinapayuhan ni Aileen Baladad, Philippine Ports Authority senior terminal operation officer ang mga stranded na pasahero patungong Marinduque na bumalik na lamang sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan upang masiguro ang kanilang kaligtasan.

“It is the call of nature. We all have to wait for the go signal from the Philippine Coast Guard to allow the ships to travel,” ayon kay Baladad.
