BOAC, Marinduque – Armi Carrion once again wins the mayoral position in the municipality of Boac, after official proclamation of the canvassers on Tuesday, May 10.
Carrion who bears Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) political party, won with a total of 17,081 votes compared with the 12,286 votes gathered by opponent, Engr. D.E. James Dellosa, as consolidated from 80 polling precincts in Boac.
Municipal Board of Canvassers Chairperson Glenda Nilo-Silang formally declared Carrion as local chief executive of the municipality of Boac at SB Session Hall along with other candidates that have officially secured their place in the new set of officials that will compose Boac’s Sangguniang Bayan (SB).
Joined Carrion in the official declaration is newly elected Vice-Mayor Mark Seño who is also from PDP-Laban and winning candidates for the position of councilor Tet Caballes (16,537 votes), Macoy Jinang (15,939 votes), Nic Solomon (15,869 votes), Sito Laylay (15, 189 votes), Chief Manguera (14, 179 votes), Dave Daniel Larga (13, 974 votes), Luisito Majaba (12, 833 votes) and Ryan Nepomuceno (9,530 votes). — Marinduquenews.com
