Armamento visits Marinduque PNP for field visit, NLE assessment

BOAC, Marinduque — Police Major General Rhoderick Armamento, Acting Chief of Area Police Command Southern Luzon, visited Marinduque for field visit and National Local Election assessment, Monday, June 6.

Marinduque Provincial Police Office (PPO) personnel, and Municipal Police Stations Command Group welcomed Armamento and his Company presence in MPPO Parade Ground, Camp Col, Maximo Abad, Bangbangalon, Boac.

In his talk, Armamento stated his recognition towards the peaceful implementation of NLE in the province compared with the other provinces he had visited. He also commended the works of the police and their ‘enormous contribution’ in the community, and reminded them of the significance of ‘best practice’ application. As Armamento discussed, it was the ‘early preparations, strong relationship with stakeholders, and the role of social media’ that enabled the PNP force to have a peaceful 2022 elections.

Part of the talk also included Armamento emphasizing the ‘ground situations’ and addressing events such that of insurgency and communist terrorist group.

Meanwhile, Armamento also paid a courtesy call towards Marinduque Governor Presbitero Velasco at the Governor’s office in Provincial Capitol, Boac, accompanied by Christopher Melchor, the Acting Provincial Director of Marinduque PPO. —
