Mensahe mula kay Gov. Presbitero Velasco, Jr.

Lent is a time for self-reflection, sacrifice and spiritual renewal. It is a time for us to turn away from our worldly concerns and focus on our relationship with God.

As we continue to face the challenges of the pandemic and other major crises in our province and our country, let us not lose sight of the true meaning of Lent. Let us remember that the sacrifices we make during this season are a way for us to draw closer to God and deepen our faith.

I also encourage everyone to participate in the various religious activities and traditions that are observes during this season such as Stations of the Cross and Visita Iglesia. Let us also tak this opportunity to extend our help to those in need, as acts of charity and kindness that are integral to the Lenten season.

May this Lenten season be a time of spiritual growth and renewal for all of us. Let us emerge form this season with a stronger faith and renewed sense of purpose as we continue to face the challenges of the pandemic and other crises and strive towards a better and brighter future for our beloved Marinduque.

May God bless us all!
