Marinduque is known as the Lenten Capital of the Philippines aside from being the heart of the archipelago. It is gifted with natural resources including several beaches as it is naturally surrounded with bodies of water. Eric is a seasoned insight contributor at MNN. He is currently an editor-in-chief of a monthly maritime newspaper based in Manila. He is also a proprietor of maritime review center based in Pasay City. Eric have worked for several radio stations including DWIZ, NBC, DZXL, DZAR Radyo Veritas and ANC News Channel. He obtained Masters in Maritime Education at John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University in Iloilo City, the same institution where he completed his academics in Doctor of Philosophy in Maritime Management. He earned his bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communications at Polytechnic University of the Philippines and finished his highschool at Marinduque Midwest School. Eric grew up in Gasan, Marinduque.
