Spare us from the threat of Typhoon Nina. We lift up the safety of our family, friends and kababayan unto your loving arms and shield us from destruction. On December 20, 1987, the MV Doña Paz sank after colliding with oil tanker MT Vector in the Tablas Strait, between the islands of Mindoro and Marinduque, killing more than 4,300 people. A total of 26 passengers and crew survived. It was traveling from Tacloban City in Leyte island to Manila. SANTA CRUZ, Marinduque – Winakasan ng isang ginang ang kaniyang buhay matapos itong magbigti sa barangay Banahaw, Santa Cruz, Marinduque. Kinilala ang biktima na si Angenette Padilla-Bombon, 36 taong gulang, biyuda, may tatlong anak at naninirahan sa nabanggit na lugar.
