DENR: Marinduque Rich in Potential to Become Tourist Haven
BOAC, Marinduque, April 23 (PIA) – Marinduque, considered to be the “Heart of the Philippines” has a big potential for further tourism development, Mimaropa’s regional environment chief declared during the recent 14th Philippine Speleological Society National Caving Congress. Environment and Natural Resources Regional Executive Director Oscar Dominguez said Marinduque should be credited for its efforts to maintain peace and order, a critical requirement for tourist destinations.
