Sue Prado wins lone acting prize in Guam International Film Festival

Sue Prado won the Achievement in Acting Award at the awards ceremonies of the Guam International Film Festival held Sunday at the Guam Museum in Guam. The actress won for her performance in Joseph Israel Laban’s “The Sister.” In the film set in the backdrop of the Moriones festival in Marinduque, Prado portrays a woman who is faced with the difficult task of bringing home the remains of her recently departed sister, a domestic helper working in Saudi Arabia.
