BUENAVISTA, Marinduque — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Marinduque, through Negosyo Center Buenavista, successfully conducted a capacity-building seminar titled “Funding and Growth: A Capital and Financial Management for MSMEs” at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Barangay I, Buenavista, Marinduque.
The event gathered 35 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from various barangays in the municipality, aiming to strengthen their knowledge in financial management, budgeting, and business planning. Participants also learned how to evaluate and access different funding opportunities available to them.
The initiative is part of DTI’s continuing efforts to support MSME in making informed financial decisions that foster sustainable growth and contribute to the economic development of Buenavista.
Key resource speakers from both government and private financial institutions shared their expertise on loan application processes and available credit options. Among them were Kevin Laroza from Small Business Corporation, Romel P. Malamig from BPI Direct BanKo, Noel Rabe and Jackie Lyn Fuderanan from BDO Network Bank, and Beverly Rodil from the Provincial Government of Marinduque.
