Pinuntahan ng mga divers mula sa University of the Philippines Maritime Science Institute (UPMSI) ang mga coastal areas upang mapag-aralan ang kalagayan ng karagatan sa lalawigan ng Marinduque. Partikular na sinuri ng grupo ang mga coastal barangay sa mga bayan ng Torrijos at Mogpog noong Enero 20 hanggang 29, 2017. Napocor awards Mindoro transmission line projects

The government corporation in charge of providing electricity in off-grid areas has awarded transmission line projects in Mindoro to DM Consunji, Inc. and SL Development Construction Corp. In a statement released on Friday, state-run National Power Corp. (Napocor) said it received the go signal from its board of directors, chaired by the Department of Finance, to award the projects to the winning bidders.
