Today, September 13, we are commemorating the 116th Anniversary of the Battle of Pulang Lupa. Battle of Pulang Lupa was an engagement fought on September 13, 1900, during the Philippine–American War, between the forces of Colonel Maximo Abad and Devereux Shields, in which Abad’s men defeated the American force.
Activities lined up for this year’s “Battle of Pulang Lupa” commemoration includes Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts Camporee, Fun Run and Zumba Workout, Tree Planting, cultural presentations among others.
