Robredo’s Angat Buhay program reaches out to Marinduque medical frontliners

SANTA CRUZ, Marinduque – The Office of Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Gerona Robredo mobilized her team through its Angat Buhay Program to provide support to the medical frontliners in the province.

Personal Protective Equipments (PPE’s), N95 facemasks, alcohols and medical gloves were donated to rural health units of the towns of Mogpog, Santa Cruz, Gasan and to the Marinduque Provincial Hospital.

Dr. Abigael S. Villaruel, Head of Gasan Rural Health Unit expressed her gratitude to the Office of the Vice President.

“Do not underestimate any help that we are getting from our donors. We are in crisis so any help big or small (help) will go a long way, most specially for those who are in dire need. COVID-19 is everybody’s battle that we need to overcome. Thank you VP Leni Robredo for the donations,” says Dr. Villaruel.

In her message to frontliners, Robredo emphasizes that she knows the sacrifices being done by our frontliners risking their lives in danger, and she salutes all the efforts of the so called ‘new heroes’ of the generation. (With report from John Mark Forcado, Marinduquenews.com/RAMJR/PIA-Mimaropa)
