Moriones Lenten Rites 2019 Official Schedule of Activities

Moriones Lenten Rites is an annual celebration in the province of Marinduque. It is considered as one of the most attended Lenten rites in the Philippines during the season of Holy Week. It starts from Palm Sunday until Easter Sunday with various activities happening in the different towns of Marinduque. One of the highlights of the activity is the ‘Via Crusis’ held every Good Friday with a very dramatic re-enactment of the ‘Passion of Christ’ along the streets of every town of Marinduque.
