CDA-Mimaropa named Edilberto Sager as region’s top performer

BOAC, Marinduque – The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Mimaropa Extension Office recently conducted it’s 2019 Midyear Assessment and Planning on July 25-26, 2019 at CVMPC Conference Hall, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

The momentous event was graced by CDA Regional Director Cristina H. Villamil with the participation of different CDA officials and cooperatives along Mimaropa Region.

On the said occasion, Deputy Executive Director Giovanni T. Platero conducted an Orientation on Digital Transformation and Role of Information and Communication Technologies in Strengthening of CDA.

Meanwhile, Marinduque’s Provincial Cooperative Development Specialist Edilberto M. Sager was awarded as 1st Semester Top Performer in accomplishing the target in the field of Inspection and Monitoring for the period of January to June 2019 along with his colleagues from Oriental Mindoro and one assigned in Palawan.

On a spot interview, Sager narrated that it is the strategy of Regional Director Villamil to recognize employees who do their work well.

“It is a booster for field workers to execute more time and efforts to reach CDA’s goals and objectives”, Sager added.

On March 10, 1990, Republic Act 6399 was signed into law creating the Cooperative Development Authority whose primary function is to promote the viability and growth of cooperatives as instruments of equity, social justice, and economic development. Marinduquenews.com
