MSC administration conducts Student Leaders’ forum

SANTA CRUZ, Marinduque – In the spirit of Lenten season, Marinduque State College (MSC) administration headed by Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Verna Liza L. Capiña, Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, Student Affairs Services Director Mr. Arnel M. Lantita and Santa Cruz Campus Director Dr. Randell R. Reginio conducted a student leaders’ forum at MSC Santa Cruz Campus.

The very essence of the said forum was to clarify student leaders’ concerns on issues affecting them as students of MSC. Dr. Mani candidly answered queries from student leaders about the student assistance fund from the office of Cong. Lord Allan Jay Q. Velasco, and the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Free Tuition Law. She added that the Office of Cong. Emmeline Aglipay-Villar of DIWA Partylist has given student financial assistance for MSC.

Dr. Mani advised the participants that MSC will be giving incentives to those students who are “Deans Listers” and who will be graduating with academic distinction.

In closing Dr. Mani stressed that she had appreciated the efforts of student leaders for writing an appeal through her office and thanked them for being partners for positive social change.

Meanwhile, Dr. Verna Liza L. Capiña announced that the scheduled commencement exercises of the MSC Santa Cruz Campus will be on May 11, 2018 ahead of Barangay and Sanguniang Kabataan Elections. Marinduquenews.com
