We are in prayer for the family of Rev. Fr. Edwin M. Sager who was in a serious comatose. Today, September 6, 2016, after days of battling, he went home to be with the Lord. He was good friend and brother in the vineyard.
Father Edwin, we know that you are too young to leave in this world but God saw you getting tired and a cure was not be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me”. With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
Timeline and Funeral arrangements
Sep 6 – At exactly 11:49 am, Fr. Sager peacefully joined our Creator and was reunited with his mother and father in heaven. He was surrounded by his family and close friends.
Sep 7 – Remains will be brought to Holy Cross Parish Church in Sta. Cruz, Marinduque where he served as parish priest.
Sep 8 – Remains will be transferred to Immaculate Conception Parish in Boac, Marinduque.
Sep 9 – Remains will be transferred to the family’s home in Brgy. Pangi, Gasan, Marinduque as personally requested by Fr. Sager when he was still alive.
Sep 15 – Schedule of funeral service.
