BOAC, Marinduque – The Marinduque State College (MSC) installed very small aperture terminal (VSAT) facilities in its three campuses: Boac Main Campus, and Sta. Cruz and Gasan branches, with the assistance from the Department of Information and Communication Technology.
The VSAT facilities started operations in January 2019, in time for the students’ return from the Christmas break. The facility provides free WiFi connections to the MSC academic community.
“This development will contribute to the paperless class management practices where professors could give the assignments and examinations to their students thourgh the internet,” MSC President Dr. Merian Mani said.
“Likewise, the students could submit their outputs and answers to examinations to their professors through the internet,” she added.
Meni said the VSAT facilities were intended to facilitate, among others, the practice of paperless governance and management practices among the middle and top manegement levels. –AGPapa/MSC Media Bureau, Manila Times
