BOAC, Marinduque – The official student publication of Marinduque State College (MSC), The MSCians, represented by seven talented and versatile MSC students, brought home pride as they won three awards from the National Seminar Workshop on Campus Journalism and School Paper Production held at the Pines View Hotel, Legarda Road, Baguio City.
The awards garnered by MSC writers were: Editorial Writing–1st Place by Kate Lamac, AB English 4 of the School of Liberal Arts (SLA) and 3rd Place by Richard Kate Ricohermoso, BS Civil Engineering (BSCE) 4 of the School of Engineering (SEng); and 1st Place for Group Feature Writing and School Paper Production, MSC, by Chinny Go, AB English1 of SLA, Ralph Mar Gutierez, AB Communication 1 of SLA; Kate Lamac; Lyka Mae Mogol, BSCE 4 of SEng; Don Mark dela Cruz, BSCE 4 of SEng; Richard Kate Ricohermoso; and Kaye Ann Ramos, BSCE 4 of SEng.
They were accompanied by their advisers, namely Jholey Rose Lancion and Cristina Atienza.
The event was hosted by the Philippine Pedagogical Institute, an organization accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission, in cooperation by the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education. – Marinduquenews.com
