STA. CRUZ, Marinduque – Executive Director Ramil Tan of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC) speaks at the “Stakeholders Forum on River Rehabilitation and Environmental Protection” which was organized by the local government of the Province of Marinduque.
Tan is joined by Municipality of Sta. Cruz Councilor Krenessa Constantino and Engr. Reynaldo Reynaldo of EcoGlobal Foundation where together, they discussed about the maintenance and sustainability of environmental projects such as the rehabilitation of the waterways being done by the PRRC in the Pasig River system as well as the possibility of a solar energy facility in Marinduque to be introduced by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to augment electricity and livelihood opportunities.
Tan also proudly showed the participants comprised of local government officials, engineers, career professionals, and the local residents the audiovisual presentations of the PRRC which were received positively by the audience.
In this convergence, the dream of a robust and brighter Marinduque province could soon become a reality.

Mr. Ramil Tan is the Executive Director of Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission, a government organization mandated to revive the Pasig River System to its pristine condition conducive for transport, recreation and tourism. Tan is a native of Sta. Cruz, Marinduque. He studied at San Sebastian College of Law.
