GASAN, Marinduque — In line with the Provincial Director’s Always Ready to Serve (ARTS) program, Marinduque Police Provincial Office personnel implement the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) good deeds in selected municipalities and barangays in the province wherein different activities and services were initiated by the MPPO.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Elmer L. Manalo, chief of Police Community Affairs and Development Unit, the PNP good deeds carried out programs with the help of provincial exclusive ordinances and advocacy support groups like Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) in the town of Sta. Cruz in which free slippers, toys, and food packs were also handed to the residents.
Meanwhile, similar activities were successfully conducted in the municipalities of Gasan and Mogpog.
“Peace and unity will be maintained along with the hands of Youth Advocacy Groups and Sangguniang Kabataan Federations,” stated by Police Executive Master Sergeant Ernesto R. Pernia, Jr., deputy police chief for operations at Mogpog Municipal Police Station.
Additionally, free haircuts, flyers, food pack distribution, and information dissemination on crime prevention were provided to the residents of selected communities and municipalities as part of the program. — Marinduquenews.com
