BOAC, Marinduque – Marinduque State College (MSC) emerged as the regional champion in RAATI 2018 with an average score of 98.06 percent.
The Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) Team headed by LTC Eduardo Ayala Pipit, INF PA (RET) assisted by MSC Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit Commandant Maj. Ronaldo Fidelino (QMS) PA and National Service Training Program (NSTP) Director Mario Mascareñas facilitated the cadets evaluation of events on tactical inspection.
The RAATI Team was welcomed by the MSC Community headed by Dr. Merian Catajay-Mani with the traditional Marinduquel Putong.

Jose Alvarez, former Marinduque Board Member graced the event representing Congressman Lord Allan Velasco.
Part of the evaluation was the ground demonstration and tactical operational procedures by the cadets. Evaluation criteria are set to test how the cadets applied their learning on different areas of training and specialization. MSC ROTC Unit was also awarded as regional champion on 2016 and 2017 respectively.
As of press time MSC ROTC Unit is still hoping to be the over-all champion in Southern Tagalog pending the results of RAATI 2018 at Calabarzon Area. –Marinduquenews.com
