BOAC, Marinduque – May 19 was a big day for Marinduque. The first ever pre-pageant of Ms. Philippines Earth 2015 was held at the Boac Convention Center, Capitol Compound.
The following are winners for the Ms. Philippines Earth 2015 winners: Ms. Liga ng mga Baranggay Ms. Muntinlupa – Danica Ebrada, Ms. Marinduque Provincial Police Office – Ms. Baguio Sofia Loren Deliu, Ms. Marikit-Na Beach Resort, Ms. Rico’s Inn, Ms. Dream Favor Travel and Tours – Ms.Bulacan Stephanie Gerona and Ms. Atilana Resort – Ms. Marilao,Bulacan Stepahny Gerona. The Best in Resorts Wear and Best in Evening Gown Competition and JC Premiere International – Ms. Ormoc Darlene Pepito, the bet of the crown during the pageant and the photo shoots at Palad Sandbar, Maniwaya, Sta. Cruz.
Twenty gorgeous ladies competed for the Best in Resorts Wear and Best in Evening gown competitions. The ladies all represented their provinces and regions well. Each one shared her Environmental Advocacy to protect the mother and in some ways or in different ways have influenced and touched the mind and attitudes of the audience or the viewing public.
In an interview over PIA Mimaropa Hour at Radyo Natin 105.7FM, some candidates were able to air their individual advocacy: Ms. Panggasinan – No to Mining; Ms. Cebu – Pro-Ecotourism and its Protection and Preservation; Ms. Marilao Bulacan – Protection of Marine Lives and promotion of Diving as a tourism attraction and/or activity; Ms. Pagsanjan, Laguna – to save the lakes and the rivers: Ms. Bohol – To Preserve and Protect the Coastal Resources and the use of social media in influencing everyone to save mother earth; Ms. Tarlac – she wants to share the best practices of their municipality in, being the cleanest municipality thereby encouraging others to do the same things.; Ms. Iligan – Reforestation which includes reviving and maintaining the beauty of mother earth.
Everyone says the candidates during the pageant night were just so ready for the national competition on May 31 at the Mall of Asia (MOA) for they have delivered their lines and have given important messages about their advocacies to the public which is a big way in helping promote environmental awareness and concern to protect mother earth and had presented themselves with their resorts wear and evening gown on the ramp with grandeur. Judges from different sectors were impressed with the candidates as well as the production numbers especially the prod were little children sang the traditional welcome song to guests of the island – the Putong that projects a message that these vibrant energetic youth will be the next generation that will keep our culture and heritage intact down to the last generation the island.
